Tenango de Doria, Hidalgo is a municipal capital. Embroidery is common here; however the traditional costume is extinct. There are a few women that still have the blouse, skirt and belt and quechquemitl however it is no longer in use.

The traditional costume is no longer worn in town. This women and about 12 other still have the original costume in the closet and she showed me how the costume was worn.
